HAWAII (so far)

We finally made it and are enjoying the hawaiian life. We have learned a few things... first, when you are trying to get somewhere don't get on the wrong bus. Second, don't wait for someone at the transfer point by the mcdonalds and tacobell, turns out there is more than one mcdonalds and tacobell on the island of Oahu. Who would have thought. Third, don't try to rent a car if you are 18, it's not going to work even if you are in the military. And last, if you go to the north shore or ANY beach.. bring a towel, you might get wet it is an ocean. Other than that i think we are doing pretty good.
We went to the north shore after a 2 hour bus ride, i can't wait to get a car down here!
We jumped off this 30 ft rock... it was awesome... Ben had to do a back flip and show everyone up! But it's okay He's a LIFEGUARD!!!

After a long hard day at the north shore, we're ready to go shopping.

Congrats to the newly weds. Justin tells me that Hawaii has it all; must there are more than one McDonalds and Taco Bell! Glad you two got to meet up; he said on his blog, " They both seem to be very nice people. It would be nice to meet up with them again." Enjoy paradise!...Justin's Mom
