Weekend adventure

Destiny and her mother along with baby brycen stayed the weekend with us before going home to kentucky this wednesday. We went horseback riding Sunday, and watched the Vans Triple Crown surf competition. And of course went to the beach!

WOW we moved into our house exactly a year ago, but now we were able to celebrate halloween. Here are some pictures, i was a Evil Fairy and Ben was Joe Dirte =)

We helped our neighboor Shannon decorate her car port for halloween and it was amazing, i dont have many pictures of it though. We had the best decorations in the subdivision! MAN were that GOOD... =)

Ben has to clear for deployment in many ways one of which is Medically, because of a back injury from his basic training, he is not deploying for at least 6 more months! THANK GOD! oh and he broke his hand friday night boxing.

Deployment Time...

Pre-deployment stress! that pretty much sums it up! Ben is scheduled to leave October 17th give or take a few days. As of now he is going to Iraq, exactly where we arent sure. We keep hearing that they are pulling troops out of Iraq and sending them to Afghanistan but no news for Ben yet. Any questions... I will try to answer them.

LONG TIME NO BLOG

Aloha Everyone, Well We have been getting back into the swing of things here. Today I took Luger to the vet and he has gained 25 lbs since his last visit, he is now 56 lbs and only 5 months old. WOW. Ben leaves on the 29th for NTC which is a trianing course in California, as of now his unit is preparing to deploy in mid October to Iraq, but this is the Army and things change. Ben is planning on coming home in September for 2 weeks, as FOR me, Im not sure we can afford it right now. So I will probably stay home and take care of the animals and bills. Speaking of Animals, we got a cat, YES another animal! No more duckies though, as for them the other wild birds had their way with the ducklings and they went to heaven. So now it is Kona, Luger and the newest member BELLA.

WELL....

Well we keep them in the bath tub and keep the door to the bathroom locked, except for when i took the new puppy outside to go potty, and I came back in and there was one ducky gone (not gone but i could see what happened to it, leigha had a snack) Now there are two.

Well more NEWS. Ben's leave paper work didnt work out as planned but it IS the military so nothing works the way it is planned. So Ben won't be comming home for June but hopefully in September before he deploys to Iraq. I am going to try to come out for a week or so and see everyone. Ill let you know when I buy the ticket. Sorry to everyone for the dissapointment, but we still love and miss everyone.

UPDATE
Pictures for everyoine to enjoy, Ben came home on Thursday! And his bonus finally went in! So we are good to go, and we will be home around the 14th, We will update on Tues as soon as we buy the tickets. While Ben was at PTA I got myself a house keeping job with my neighboor. She pays me 10 dollars and hour, and I work about 10 hours a week. I also babysit for my other neighboor on and off and she pays me between 10 - 12 dollars an hour. I start school in July as soon as I get my High School to send the transcripts. For now it will be General education, for about 2 years. Then Ben and I will decide where to go from HERE!

Ben's gone for 2 weeks

Ben left today with his unit to PTA to weapons train on the big island. He won't be home for 2 weeks. This is the longest we've gone without eachother, besides his AIT which was 5 weeks. In this time I hope to find a job and apply at HPU. Also, we found our Rottweiler, Ruby, a better home yesterday and Ben had to say his goodbyes to her because her new family is picking her up next week while he is gone. Well, that is the update for now, it won't be long till we are home. We love you all!

HAWAIIAN ALARM CLOCK! uuhg

Wow, WILD ROOSTERS in HAWAII. Yep that's how I woke up today! 6:00am sharp, the faint sound of a "cockle doodle doo" aproaches my front window. stuffing a pillow over my face i try to fall back asleep. After more "doodle-doos" i finally do the sensible thing... I take Kona outside very quietly spot the damn cock, point and say "BIRD!" In a flash she's gone and so is the noisy pest. MMMM peace and quiet. a nice watm bed for me and my favorite dog this morning. =) ALOHA!

RUBY! She is a three year old purebred german rotweiler.

On saturday we went to waiemea bay with kona. She decided to climb the infamous "rock" with us. she did so good. we were so suprized, now to get her to jump off. haha.

9 1/2 weeks old

We took the puppies to the vet for their first set of shots today. 3 weeks ago we took them in to get Dewormed, both Zues and Leigha have doubled in size in those 3 weeks. Zues weighs 14.2 lbs and Leigha weighs 16.8 lbs. WOW!

SO BIG, they are good with commands too!

And then there was before, 2weeks old... my babies are growing so FAST!
